Today I am going to share with you Rajma Chawal recipe, so lets try this recipe following the steps below. You can choose according your taste and preference. Here I have used long grain aged Basmati rice but it’s totally your choice. So people who does not eat animal proteins they go for rajma to include protein in their diet. Rajma has lots of benefits and it is high in plant based protein. It is a very popular meal in Central and Western India. It is very easy to prepare, less time consuming & a very healthy food. Mostly, I prefer rajma chawal in my lunch. It is a complete meal, which contains tasty rajma & fluffy rice. In addition, this is flavoured with ground spices - turmeric, red chilli, black pepper etc. Garnish it with kasoorimethi leaves and Chopped Coriander leaves.Rajma chawal is flavorful Indian rice dish. The best Rajma recipe results in a spicy and flavourful curry using onions, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic, infused with whole spices such as black cardamom pod, bay leaf, dry red chillies, cumin seeds, and cinnamon.Then add rajma along with its water.Stir well and simmer it for about 15 minutes until the gravy thickens.Add the spices turmeric powder, Kashmiri Red chilli power, Coriander powder, Cumin powder, Amchur powder, Garam masala powder and required salt.Stir well.Don’t burn the spices.Add green chillies and Tomato puree and saute until all the moisture is evaporated and Oil starts to leave the sides of the pan.Add finely chopped Onions and saute until soft and translucent.Add a tbsp of crushed Ginger and garlic and saute well.Temper it with Bayleaf, Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Star Anise and Cardamom.
